Well, we’re a bit tardy with sharing the news… but the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) blog featured a story about Keep the Rez Beautiful (KRB). And we’re really proud of the coverage!
At first you may think, “What does agriculture and KRB have in common?” But KRB and USDA have strong ties through the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), a sub-agency of USDA. All volunteers with KRB are also considered members of Earth Team, the volunteer group associated with NRCS. Our volunteers promote conservation of natural resources, clean our roads, greenways and blueways and improve our community. These actions are congruent with the goals of Earth Team, which aims to help government better conserve our nation’s natural resources.
