Waste Management recently selected Keep the Rez Beautiful for a $5,000 grant to promote and encourage recycling in the Reservoir area. Waste Management presented board members with the award on May 31, and the money will be used to support KRB activities related to recycling. These funds are assisting in a boat ‘n tote campaign for Reservoir beaches, including signage and boat ‘n tote bags.
Promoting recycling is one of the core missions of Keep America Beautiful and Keep Mississippi Beautiful, and we are happy to do our part in the Reservoir area.
