KRB Taking Apps for Volunteer of the Year Awards

Keep the Rez Beautiful honors dedicated volunteers and community members who have affected change in the Ross Barnett Reservoir community. We give Rezzy awards for the categories below. Applications are due AprilĀ 5 to Justin Fritscher at jmfritscher@gmail.com. Awards will be given at Project Rezway on April 25.

Volunteer of the Year Award: This award honors a dedicated KRBer (or group) who embodies the values of the organization. This volunteer has striven to help the organization realize its mission and improve the Reservoir community.

Student Volunteer of the Year Award: This award honors a dedicated KRB youth (or group) who embodies the values of the organization. This volunteer has striven to help the organization realize its mission and improve the Reservoir community.

Community Greening Award: This award honors a dedicated KRBer (or group) who has worked to enhance and rejuvenate the Reservoir community and ecosystem through beautification and revitalization efforts.

Community Cleaning Award:
This award honors a dedicated KRBer (or group) who has worked to reduce litter, clean up litter and reduce waste in the Reservoir community.

Treasure the Rez Award:
This award honors a dedicated KRBer (or group) who has worked to improve the water quality of the Reservoir and promote the principles of Keep America Beautiful and Rezonate, a campaign by the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality and partner agencies and organizations.

Rezonate! Environmental Education Award:
This award honors a dedicated Reservoir-area teacher who has worked to educate the young minds of the Reservoir in environmental education and promote the principles of Keep America Beautiful and Rezonate, a campaign by the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality and partner agencies and organizations.
